A banner view is each time the banner is shown to a visitor on a page of one of your connected domains. If your views go over your plan’s monthly allowance, we email you to discuss moving to a plan that fits your traffic. There are no automatic overage fees.
How banner views are counted
Views on all the domains connected to your account count towards your plan’s monthly allowance, which resets on the first of the month. The allowance depends on your plan:
- Free: 25,000 banner views a month
- Growth: 250,000 banner views a month
- Scale: two million banner views a month
To find out how many views have been counted on your account, ask support@grantcookie.com. Plans are priced by banner views, with no per-seat charge. Our terms do not allow you to interfere with the counting of banner views or otherwise act to avoid the limits of your plan.
What happens if you go over
We contact you at the email address on your account to discuss moving to a plan that fits your traffic. We do not charge for the extra views without agreeing it with you first.
If your views stay above the allowance and we cannot agree a plan within a reasonable time, we may, after giving you notice, limit the service to your plan’s allowance or suspend it, as our terms describe.
If you need more than two million views a month
Write to sales@grantcookie.com with your traffic and how many domains you run, and we agree a plan with you in writing.
Domains have their own limit
Your plan’s domain limit is the number of domains you can have connected at the same time: one on Free, five on Growth and unlimited on Scale. You can compare the plans on the pricing page.
Views you do not use
Fees are paid in advance. If you cancel, we do not refund the rest of the billing period or banner views you did not use. The exceptions, such as where the law gives you a right to a refund, are listed in section 6.7.2 of our terms.
