The consent platforms we tried were either cheap banners that would not stand up to scrutiny, or enterprise suites priced for a compliance department we did not have. We built GrantCookie to sit between the two.

The principles we build by
- Refusing consent should be as easy as giving it. Reject all sits beside Accept all, at the same size.
- Dark patterns are a liability. No optional category is switched on until the visitor turns it on.
- A banner collects consent; the record proves it. Each choice is stored with the time, a consent ID and the banner version the visitor saw.
- Pricing belongs on the pricing page. Free, Basic, Pro and Ultimate, and what each one costs, are all published there.
