For founders

Cookie consent you can set up yourself

The banner follows the consent rule for each visitor’s market and logs every choice. Free covers 5,000 pageviews a month on one website, with five cookie scans a month that you start yourself.

  • No card to start
  • One script tag to go live
  • No sales call

Three steps to a live banner

From sign-up to a banner on your site

  1. Create your account: sign up free, no card required.
  2. Configure the banner: pick a layout, set your colours and choose which regulations apply.
  3. Add one script tag to the head of your site, before your analytics tags, and the banner is live.

It loads asynchronously, so it does not block your page from rendering.

What gets in the way

No time for compliance research

There is no time to read privacy law, and the fines apply anyway.

No legal team on call

Hiring a privacy lawyer for every market you enter does not scale.

Setup time before launch

A cookie banner should not move the launch date.

The consent rule for each market

  • Select the privacy laws that apply to you, from the 16 the banner covers.
  • Where opt-in applies, as under the GDPR, non-essential cookies wait until the visitor chooses.
  • Where a US opt-out law applies, cookies can run until the visitor opts out, and a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link appears on every page.
  • Where the law works on notice, as in Singapore, the banner gives the notice and records the choice. Australia’s Privacy Act has no cookie-consent rule as such: the banner gives the notice and keeps a record where a cookie can identify someone.
  • GDPR and CCPA templates come with every plan.

What the banner does

By consent model

ModelWhat the banner does
Opt-inBlocks non-essential cookies until the visitor chooses, with Reject all beside Accept all.
Opt-outLets cookies run until the visitor opts out, with a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link and a preference centre.
NoticeGives the notice and records the choice; in Australia, where a cookie can identify someone.

Designed to match your brand

  • Pick a layout, then set the colours, fonts, copy, button shapes and corner radius.
  • No CSS to write.
  • Standard customisation on Free. Advanced customisation on Basic, Pro and Ultimate.
  • Ultimate removes the GrantCookie mark, so the banner carries only your brand.
The banner designer: brand colour swatches, a corner radius slider and a vendor badge switch

Automatic cookie scanning

  • Crawls your site and lists every cookie, tracker and pixel it finds, sorted into categories.
  • Names the third parties that set them.
  • Scans again on a schedule: monthly on Pro and weekly on Ultimate. On Free and Basic, scans run when you start them.

Other use cases

  • GrantCookie for developers

One script tag in the head, a JavaScript API that fires events when consent changes, and Google Consent Mode v2 signals.

  • GrantCookie for marketers

Non-Google tags wait for consent where opt‑in applies. When a visitor declines, Google’s tags switch to cookieless pings, so Google can still model conversions.

  • GrantCookie for agencies

One account holds every client website, each on its own plan. Ultimate covers unlimited pageviews a month.
