Which plans include it
The pricing page lists consent record import from CSV as included on Growth and Scale and not included on the Free plan. The terms offer it on paid plans.
How the import works
- Export your consent records as a CSV file from the platform you used before GrantCookie.
- Email support@grantcookie.com. Support will tell you how to send the file to GrantCookie securely. A person reads every message and replies within one working day.
- GrantCookie imports the records into your consent log as supplied.
What you are responsible for
You are responsible for the accuracy of the records and for your right to transfer them to GrantCookie. The data processing agreement also makes you responsible for their lawful origin. Imported records hold the fields in the file you send, so check the file before you send it.
After the import
GrantCookie processes imported records as your processor and keeps them for the same period as the choices in your consent log: for as long as your account is open, unless you instruct it to delete them earlier.
A later move to the Free plan is not an instruction to delete them. They stay with your account until you instruct GrantCookie to delete them or your account closes. Consent log export is on Growth and Scale, so on those plans you can take the log out again when you need it.
