What a scan finds
- With an account. The scanner crawls your whole site and lists every cookie, tracker and pixel it finds, sorted into categories, and names the third parties that set them.
- On a schedule. It scans again monthly on Pro and weekly on Ultimate. On Free and Basic, scans run when you start them.
Three steps to a live banner
- Scan. Enter your domain. We crawl it and return every cookie, tracker and pixel we find, sorted into categories.
- Configure. Pick the regulations that apply, set your brand colours and copy, and choose how the banner behaves on first visit.
- Publish. Paste one script tag into the page head. The banner is live, consent is logged and Google Consent Mode is wired up.

Will the banner slow my site down?
No. The script loads asynchronously and does not block rendering.
Do I still need a cookie policy?
Yes. A banner collects consent, and a policy explains what you collect and why. The scan gives you the cookie inventory the policy needs, and the cookie policy generator turns it into draft text for you to review and publish.
Does it work on a single-page app?
Yes. The script works with any front end (React, Vue, Angular, Svelte, Next, Nuxt or plain HTML) and exposes events so your app can react when consent changes.
What happens to my analytics when someone declines?
With Google Consent Mode v2 on, Google’s tags stay loaded but send cookieless pings, so Google can still model conversions without setting the cookies the visitor refused. Non-Google tags are blocked until consent is given.
Is GrantCookie legal advice?
No. We provide the tooling and defaults that regulators expect. For your specific obligations, talk to a lawyer.
Can I move my existing consent records across?
On paid plans, yes. Send us a CSV export from your current platform and we will import it, so your audit trail stays continuous.
